The U.S. school grading system differs from that used around the world. It is based on a letter grade system. Starting in middle school (Middle School, Junior High School), each child chooses the subjects he or she wants to take in addition to the required courses. During the high school (High School) students are advised by career counselors, which makes the process of entering the chosen university much easier.

North Broward Preparatory School offers The Advanced Placement (AP) program, preparing children for successful entry into prestigious universities. The higher the academic level of the school, the more advanced courses it offers.
