History of North Broward Preparatory School

North Broward Preparatory School (NBPS) opened in 1957 on the Pacific coast of Florida, in the small town of Coconut Creek. There are about 1,650 students, with nearly 30 nationalities represented. It is part of the Nord Anglia Education chain of prestigious schools.

Among the strongest fields of study are STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics), humanities and social sciences, as well as creative subjects and sports. High school students can choose International Baccalaureate (IB) or Advanced Placement (AP). The experimental Entrepreneurial Studies Program allows you to learn the basics of business and entrepreneurship, have an internship in a large company while you are still in high school, and lay a strong foundation for further study and career. NBPS also offers a wide choice of creative courses, some of which are developed together with the specialists from one of the leading American schools of art - The Juilliard School.

The school uses the latest technology and achievements in the field of interactive education. NBPS has the status of the Apple Distinguished School, as part of this program Apple provides each student with a personal MacBook. At the same time teachers understand the importance of "live" process of gaining knowledge - students perform a large number of practical tasks, and some classes take place outside the classroom, in the open area of the campus.

Graduates achieve high results, 100% of students get passing grades and enter universities at the level of Yale and Princeton, and become outstanding figures in various fields.
